(Image: Barings) Barings has secured State Significant Development approval for a 188-unit residential project in St Leonards, adding to the housing pipeline on Sydney’s lower north shore. The development, owned by Aware Super and developed by Barings, will be delivered across sites at 12–20 Berry Road and 11–19 Holdsworth Avenue. The 5,015-square-metre site previously contained 10 low-density residential dwellings and will now accommodate 188 residential units, a childcare centre and a community facility. Designed to support the evolving needs of the local community, the development will include private and affordable housing, with 15.6 per cent of floor space allocated to affordable housing – equating to 37 units. The appointments broaden North American representation on the executive board and bring additional governance expertise. They follow the appointment of Paul Bentley, director in Mott MacDonald’s contracting business, JN Bentley, who joined the executive board earlier this year. Radeloff joined Mott MacDonald in 2022 and has been president and CEO for North America since last year. His experience spans engineering, design and construction across a range of markets, including heavy civil infrastructure.
