Do you know about the activities that take place on April 28 th , the WorldDay for Safety and Health at Work ? They are meant to raise worldwide awareness about workplace accidents and work-related illnesses . This year, the date took on a special meaning, as it helped creating a campaign for both employers and employees to learn about and aim to create habits that encourage a safe workplace, and the elimination of child workers . Worldwide, there’s an estimated 541 million workers aged between 15 and 24 years old, representing 15% of the whole world’s workforce.  However, the same workers are also part of negative statistics such as the non-fatal workplace accidents one, which is 40% times higher than that of adult workers older than 25 years old.
