The building  business is one of the economy sectors that projects the greater numbers of mid-term changes. The use of materials, which production generates strong impact on the environment, is one of the reasons behind the implementation of new technologies , ones that will not only benefit the environment, but also reduce investment costs. Experts claim that, in the next few years, structures will sell better depending on their eco-friendly characteristics – meaning those that consume less energy , and encourage recycling . There are products which, in due time, could substitute conventional materials. Synthetic tiles, made out of recycled plastic and limestone are very durable, estimates suggesting that, once in use, they could last for over 50 years. The best part, however, is that once they have served their purpose, they are 100% recyclable.  When it comes to roof tiling, there are alternatives such as photovoltaic tiles, which generate energy for the structures
