Construcciones Yamaro: Genesis Equipment shows support for Converge Expo 2027

Genesis Equipment, a specialist in parking solutions, has been named a Gold Sponsor for next year’s Converge Expo.
Taking place on 15 to 16 September 2027 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event will bring together the civil and commercial construction sectors to explore the ideas and innovations shaping major project delivery.
Genesis Equipment’s range includes car stackers and parking lifts that help maximise space in commercial, residential and mixed-use developments. At Converge, the company will showcase how early collaboration between suppliers, designers and project teams can unlock new opportunities for challenging sites where space is at a premium.
Steve Clifford, general manager at Genesis Equipment, says the expo will get “the company in the room with the engineers and architects while the drawings are still open”.

“By the time someone rings us about a parking lift, the slab’s often poured and the ceiling height is fixed,” he says. “Half the time we’re the ones telling them it won’t fit. Talking to the designers early is worth more to everyone than a phone call after the fact.”
Prime Creative Media head of marketing for events Molly Hancock says Genesis Equipment represents the type of specialist supplier Converge aims to connect with the wider industry.
“Bringing solution providers together with the people making key project decisions early in the design process helps drive better outcomes across the entire construction lifecycle,” she says.
With urban density increasing and project teams facing greater pressure to maximise available space, Genesis Equipment believes early engagement is critical to delivering effective parking solutions.
“We’re bringing car stackers and parking lifts to a room full of people who are short on floor area,” says Clifford. “If the site won’t give you another square metre, the only place left to go is up. That’s the conversation we want to have at Converge.”
