The Women in Construction Summit will bring a stronger focus on practical skills, leadership capability and industry connection in 2026.

Taking place in Sydney on 6 to 7 May and Melbourne on 13 to 14 May, this year’s program introduces a more interactive format, with roundtables, group problem-solving sessions, masterclasses and facilitated networking.

More than 35 industry leaders will share insights, including Cathryn Greville (NAWIC), Sandra Nilsen (BESIX Watpac), Margot Brassil (Infrastructure NSW), Kate Wingad (John Holland), Gladys Woods (Haslin Constructions), Amy Lezala (Department of Transport VIC), Sally Law (Clough), Ashley Barnes (Icon), Sinèad Redmond (GeelongPort), Christina Hung (Nacap) and Roxy Shirvani (Major Road Projects Victoria).

The event will focus on:

  • Supporting career and organisational progression across the construction sector;
  • creating opportunities for learning, networking and industry connection;
  • building non-technical capabilities, including critical thinking, decision-making, time management and leadership;
  • practical approaches to how men and women can work together to support diversity, equity and inclusion;
  • exploring how construction experience can open up different career pathways;
  • addressing site culture and the day-to-day realities of construction work; and
  • company responses to challenges across technology, sustainability, safety and climate resilience.

Now in its third year, the summit continues to draw professionals from across construction and infrastructure, with a focus on shared challenges and practical takeaways.

Registrations for the Women in Construction Summit 2026 are now open, with a 10 per cent discount available using code IC10.
