Construcciones Yamaro: First look at Eurobodalla Regional Hospital façade

The façade of the NSW Government’s new $330 million Eurobodalla Regional Hospital has been revealed.
Designed as a purpose-built facility, the development will expand access to healthcare services for communities from Narooma to Batemans Bay.
Its façade features a light-filled glass-fronted foyer to welcome patients, visitors and staff, along with silver and bronze-toned cladding that reflects the surrounding landscape.
Inside, new images show progress on the maternity unit, maternity staff station and a recovery-based space designed to support patient-centred care and contemporary work environments for clinicians and health staff.
With the façade complete, construction will continue on the internal fit-out, services installation and external landscaping works.

The new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital will include a larger Emergency Department, the region’s first Intensive Care Unit through an eight-bed Intensive Care/Close Observation Unit, surgical and operating theatres, a day-stay surgical unit, expanded chemotherapy and renal dialysis services, and an expanded medical imaging department with MRI.
It will also include ambulatory care and outpatient services, paediatric and maternity services with a special care nursery, mental health beds for short-term care, and education and training facilities, including a simulation laboratory.
Consultation with clinicians, staff, community members and local First Nations representatives has informed the hospital’s design, including Connecting with Country principles and the use of Dhurga language in wayfinding to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment.
The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
