Construcciones Yamaro: Georgiou names new general manager for NSW

Georgiou has appointed Nick Fryday as general manager of its New South Wales operations, signalling a new chapter for the business in the state.
Fryday steps into the role with more than 20 years of industry experience across Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), he holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Mathematics and a Master of Project Management.
His project portfolio includes senior roles on major infrastructure developments such as the M12 Motorway West project (Georgiou CPB Joint Venture), Dubbo Regional Rail Maintenance Facility, and Northern Road Stages 5 and 6.

Fryday’s expertise spans a range of delivery models – including public private partnership (PPP), design and construct (D&C), early contractor involvement (ECI), construct only and alliances – and he is known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic approach and ability to foster strong, lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders and teams.
Based in Georgiou’s new Sydney office, Fryday will work closely with teams across the state, supporting a connected and people-focused approach to leadership and operations.
