The asphalt used for paving is a product resulting from distillation which is obtained through hydrocarbons remained after the refinement of processed petroleum to produce gasoline and other oil derivatives.
This product has become an extremely important material in the construction sector; it is mainly used for coating roads, waterproofing structures such as tanks, roofs, among others. In addition to that, it is used to manufacture tiles, floors and tiles.
