and other brands and companies have called this

in Latin America, it is known by the
term "ecotourism" and many others countries have decided to name
it as “tourism 3.0”, especially since most of the population that
practice this tourism belongs to this technology sector.
A study by the international consulting firm Cognodata,
which specializes in the Customer Strategy services, revealed that at least 50%
of tourists 3.0 are inclined to environmentally sustainable destinations,
and are also willing to use the benefits of technology for the conservation of the planet.
Respect and love for the environment |
3.0 tourists, as defined Cognodata
in the analysis, are inclined to destinations that are in intimate connection with nature, respect and promote the environment,
and sustain an attitude of respect and generous coexistence with cultural heritage and
local populations.
Also, in order to be in harmony with their demands and
needs, these connected tourists choose to
use their smartphone to avoid negative impacts on the environment. These
tourists perform searches transport
and accommodation from their mobile devices, booked through specialized applications, and
also, their smartphone is their boarding pass, their way to check-in and check-out and their virtual wallet. All these
digital actions contribute to saving paper and, therefore, prevent further damage
such as waste generated unnecessarily. As you can see, 3.0 tourists are
