This $140 million, 27-storey development is being delivered by developer ODUS in partnership with builder Nazero, with completion expected in late 2026. Located at 3580 Main Beach Parade, just 68 steps from the beach, La Mer occupies a 751-square-metre site acquired in May. Construction began in July 2024. Designed by Plus Architecture, La Mer will offer 22 three-bedroom apartments, each featuring a multipurpose room and spanning 300 square metres. At the pinnacle of the development will be a two-storey penthouse, covering 600 square metres, which will be released to market at a later date. One project leading this change is SkyRidge in Worongary, a masterplanned community in Queensland. SkyRidge civil contractor, Shadforth , at times employs up to 20 per cent women in its construction program, with interest in these roles on the rise.
