Lendlease and QuadReal Property Group’s build-to-rent project, Exhibition Place, has topped out in Brisbane’s Bowen Hills, marking a milestone for the 37-storey tower.

The development will deliver 443 rental apartments and has been designed to offer flexibility and long-term housing options within one of the city’s most connected precincts. Tom Mackellar, CEO of development at Lendlease, said the project draws on the company’s international experience in the asset class.

“Build-to-rent is an important part of the housing mix, helping to improve housing supply and providing more choice for renters,” he added.

Located within the Brisbane Showgrounds, Exhibition Place sits at the centre of what will become a major Olympic precinct. Its position places residents within walking distance of King Street’s hospitality and retail offerings and connects them to Fortitude Valley, the CBD and key transport links, including the future Exhibition Station on the Cross River Rail line due to open in 2029.

The amenity offering includes a 25-metre private lap pool with beach edge, a gym supported by spa, cold plunge and yoga facilities, a rooftop lounge with private dining rooms, co-working spaces, a podcast studio, a media and games room, BBQ pavilions and dog wash facilities.

Designed by Cottee Parker, the all-electric tower is targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating and is expected to become Brisbane’s tallest build-to-rent development when completed in 2026.

Lendlease is the developer, investment manager and property manager for Exhibition Place.
