Construcciones Yamaro: Get hydraulics safe with Gates
From salespeople to fitters to operators, anyone working with or around hydraulics should be aware of the potential safety concerns and understand how to manage the associated risks effectively. Understanding the normal operating behaviour of these systems enables workers to identify and troubleshoot issues more efficiently.
This is where the Gates Safe Hydraulics program comes in. For nearly two decades, the program has been leading the way in teaching robust safety protocols, drawing on comprehensive training and resources to provide an essential foundation for anyone working with hydraulic systems.
Gates Safe Hydraulics is a program developed in 1995 by Gates’ Industrial Replacement division in response to the increasing societal focus on workplace safety.

It is one of the first programs globally to highlight safety-critical training associated with fluid power products, aligned with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
Designed to spread Gates’ hydraulic expertise across the industry, the program is not a sales pitch for Gates products. Instead, it covers essential topics for those working with hydraulic assemblies, including hose and coupling identification, assembly fabrication, and routing and installation.
